Fabio Cannavaro has admitted he would love to return to Juventus, despite a potential fans' revolt.
Fans of the Old Lady were incensed when Cannavaro jumped ship and moved to Real Madrid following their demotion for their role in the 2006 match-fixing scandal.
But Cannavaro doesn't feel this would block his return to Turin when his Madrid contract expires in the summer.
"Everyone knows that I would return to Juve with joy in my heart because I had two beautiful seasons in Turin," the World Cup winner told Tuttosport.
"People expected me to stay (in 2006) but I've already explained a thousand times what happened. I am not worried. I will definitely talk with the fans."
There has been speculation that Cannavaro wanted to return to his hometown club, Napoli. But club president Aurelio De Laurentiis has said the 2006 world player of the year is too old to play centre-back.
Cannavaro's agent, Gaetano Fedele, has claimed there are also offers from England, Russia and Germany.
