Real to fight Pepe ban

  Real Madrid goalkeeper Iker Casillas blasted teammate Pepe as he ushered him off the pitch after being sent-off against Getafe last night.

  Pepe was shown a direct red card after twice kicking Getafe captain Javier Casquero while he was on the floor. It was an incredible brain explosion from the Portugal defender.

  "You're crazy!" rapped Casillas as he aggressively pushed Pepe towards the players' race.

  Marca says a steaming Pepe also launched an ugly foul-mouthed tirade at the fourth official as he walked down the players' race.

  Disgraced Real Madrid defender Pepe says he doesn't want to return to football.

  Pepe is facing a six match ban after twice kicking out at Getafe captain Javier Casquero as he was on the ground late into Tuesday night's victory.

  The Portugal defender was sent-off for the shocking incident and today told Marca: "I do not want to come back to play football.

  "I did not know what I was doing at the time. I lost control for a few minutes.

  "If I see that I have no way of returning to play football, I will go and do something else."

  Pepe Suspended For Ten Matches

  

  Real Madrid defender Pepe has been suspended for ten matches by the Committee Competition for his violent acts against Getafe during the week.
  
  The Portuguese player was guilty of kicking Javier Casquero, punching Juan Albin and also verbally abusing the officials as he was taken from the pitch.
  
  He will now be out for the rest of the season and will play no further part in the title chase as Madrid look to close the gap on Barcelona at the top of the table.
  
  With six games left this season the defender will also miss the first four matches of the next campaign.
  
  There was good news from the Committee too though as Gonzalo Higuain had the yellow card that he picked up against Getafe rescinded.
