Arsenal forward Nicklas Bendtner says he is an improved player but the best is yet to come.
The Dane has netted 12 times so far this season and was given a pivotal role in the 4-4 draw at Liverpool in midweek.
Bendtner has not always been the flavour of the month with manager Arsene Wenger and the striker is satisfied with the way he has responded to a sticky patch for both the club and himself earlier this season.
“People have not seen everything yet – there is a lot more to come and when people realise that, things will become even better,” Bendtner told the club’s official magazine.
“I feel more part of the starting 11 this season than last and I feel I have improved all over my game.
“We had a down period – me personally as well – bit it makes people stronger, more determined and focused.
“That is exactly what it has done with me and I have been playing better since then.”
Bendtner is unflustered by his time on the bench over the last two seasons with a determined attitude seeing him through.
“I do not like to go and cry ‘I should play, I should do this or that’ I just become more determined. Maybe you think you should start a game – you might be right or you might not, but you have to keep working,” added the Dane.
“I do not like to complain, so I just keep my head down and I believe what I have done has showed a lot.”
