Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has rejected a lucrative offer from Bayern Munich.
The Daily Mail says Bayern have been pursuing the Gunners boss for nearly a month and finally made their move by inviting him to name his own terms to replace the outgoing Jurgen Klinsmann. The approach came from Bayern chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge and included a pledge of enough transfer funds to compete for the world's top names.
But in a stance that underlined his quest to take Arsenal back to the top after just one trophy in four years, Wenger declined.
