Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is preparing to sell Emmanuel Adebayor at the end of the season.
The Mirror says Adebayor signed a new contract after staying at Arsenal but his form has dropped badly and the club will sell if they can get the right price for him – and a ready-made replacement.
Togo striker Adebayor admitted he was flattered by AC Milan’s interest in him last summer and the Italians are likely to renew their attempts to sign him.
Arsenal will not want to sell him to any of their Premier League rivals.
Adebayor has managed just ten goals in the Premier League this season and he is becoming increasingly unpopular with Arsenal fans who jeered him at the start of the campaign after last summer’s ugly transfer saga.
He has done little to win them over and was hugely disappointing at Manchester United on Wednesday night.
