  Tottenham midfielder Jermaine Jenas has hinted he will be happy if Inter Millan resume their interest in taking him to Serie A this summer.

  The England midfielder has been a target of Inter boss Jose Mourinho ever since he took charge at the Giuseppe Meazza last summer.

  A deal almost came to fruition in January when Ricardo Quaresma was set to move to White Hart Lane, but that failed to materialise and he joined Chelsea instead.

  But Mourinho has not lost his interest in signing Jenas and is confident of landing the former Newcastle and Nottingham Forest ace.

  And Inter have received encouragement to pursue the deal by the player himself.

  "You take notice when Inter show an interest," Jenas told the News of the World.

  Jenas was speaking after he scored the only goal in Tottenham's 1-0 win over West Brom on Saturday.

  Tottenham are ready to discuss a swap deal with Inter Milan for midfielder Jermaine Jenas.

  Inter are chasing England international Jenas and the Mirror says Spurs will ask for Sulley Muntari in exchange.

  Inter boss Jose Mourinho may be willing to part with 24-year-old Ghanaian midfielder Muntari this summer and also fancies Tottenham’s England midfielder Jenas.

  Jenas would be allowed to leave by manager Harry Redknapp as he looks to shake up his squad at White Hart Lane and the midfielder is no longer an automatic first choice and a move to Italy appeals.
