Werder Bremen sporting director Klaus Allofs has admitted that Diego could leave the club during the summer.
Bayern Munich are massive admirers of the Brazilian playmaker, and their general manager Uli Hoeness recently declared that in the case Franck Ribery was to move on from Bavaria, then he would launch a bid to try to capture Diego.
Juventus and Manchester City are also part of the midfielder’s fans, and Allofs has implied that Werder are prepared to let the former Porto ace go for the right price.
"I cannot say that we will not be selling any player because somebody may come in with a gigantic offer," said Allofs.
"If Bayern were to call, then I would not hang up."
