  Manchester City have tabled a massive offer to Real Madrid captain Raul.

  Marca says Raul, 32, has on the table a four-year City contract worth a massive £35 million.

  Raul has enjoyed an outstanding season at Real, where he is the club's top scorer, but with an imminent board change, his future is far from certain.

  City are ready to take advantage of the confusion and now have given the striker the chance to sign the biggest contract of his life before he hangs up his boots.

  Man City boss Hughes cools talk of Raul offer

  Manchester City boss Mark Hughes has cooled reports of a £35 million contract offer to Real Madrid captain Raul.

  "We keep on getting linked with players and that's going to happen every week," Hughes told Sky Sports News.

  "I think maybe if you work back to where the story originated, I would suggest it's come from Spain, it's not come from England."

  Real Madrid captain Raul has admitted contact with Manchester City.

  “It is true that there has been contact with Manchester City and [agent] Gines Carvajal,” Raul told Marca.

  "I'm not even considering it because I wouldn't move from here, not in my wildest dreams.

  "I'm only thinking about finishing my career at Real Madrid, which is my club and where I still have many things to do.

  “When I heard of the offer from City I did not hesitate for an instant. My home is here and I think I can help win titles.”

  Carvajal added: “Yes it is true that there has been interest and nothing else.

  “When I reported the bid to Raul he told me he did not want to waste time on this issue. City have a good project but Raul is Real Madrid.”

  man city got this thinking that good players = to good team. like just add all the big names together to form 1 team. its like asking a girl that dont know anything about soccer to form a team. 1st few names they think of is kaka, beckham etc. but if between them got no chemistry, they cant partner good with each other is useless.
