Zigic, 28, said “My agent made me aware that several English clubs are following me regarding next season, but there is no offer on the table.
“The
Premier League is one of the best competitions in the world and it
would be a good option if the sporting project was good and if I was
valued on the market," he told setanta.com.
“I have
heard about English interest since last season but Valencia set a price
for me that cannot be dropped. I have no idea of what is going to
happen this summer.
At the present time, my objective is to play
well for Racing Santander and prove myself. To my mind, nobody can
question my contribution since I joined the team in January," added the
forward, who has an impressive tally of 11 goals in 17 games for his
temporary club.
“I am a professional football and will not rule
anything out. I have to return to Valencia and a decision will be taken
in the summer.
“The papers are saying that they want to sell me, but I have never been told
anything officially. A good offer could make me depart from Valencia.”
