Manchester United are struggling to reach an agreement with Carlos Tevez's agent over the fee for the player.
The Daily Mail says the Champions League final against Barcelona in Rome is likely to be Tevez’s Manchester United swansong. The club are eager to continue talks on signing him but agreed a contract for his price back in 2007.
It is understood that United have broached the idea of lowering the fee but that has been rejected by the Tevez camp and Kia Joorabchian refuses to enter talks on the price.
United signed former West Ham striker Tevez, 25, in a £9m loan deal. The contract included clauses which stated his final transfer price would rise by £25m, a combined fee of £34m.
Joorabchian, who was heading for Manchester last night, held talks with United deal-maker David Gill on Tuesday. Liverpool, Manchester City and Chelsea are interested in Tevez.
