Ryan Giggs celebrated his 11th Premier League title and immediately set his sights on a record-breaking fourth on the trot.
Giggs has enjoyed almost all the success Manchester United have achieved under Sir Alex Ferguson, including each of the championship successes that now mean the Red Devils are level with Liverpool's long-standing record of 18.
It also means United become the first club to achieve a hat-trick of titles twice, having done what Huddersfield, Arsenal and Liverpool previously achieved between 1999 and 2001.
Giggs has so many records now, it is almost impossible to calculate them all. However, he is already spying another one.
"I hope we win another one next year," he said. "No-one has ever won it four times on the trot so that is another record for us to break."
Giggs can add another trophy to his collection in Rome later this month as United look to overcome Barcelona in the Champions League final.
It would go alongside the Club World Cup, the PFA Player of the Year and a landmark 800 appearances for the Red Devils this season alone, Giggs having missed out on the Carling Cup final triumph against Tottenham.
"It has been a special season for me," he said. "I would rather have league titles than personal accolades. "But I was so happy to win that PFA award at my age. And being a United fan growing up, to play 800 times for the club is brilliant for me.
"It has been a special time for the club since the manager took over. We have been fortunate to win so much, hopefully we can carry it on."
