Middlebough and WBA is confirmed gone le.
ok, mathematically, middlebough can still claw back, but practically speaking, it is newcastle and hull fighting for the last spot to avoid relegation.
Newcastle has better goal difference, hull leads by one point, their last game will determine their fate.
Who will beat the drop?
Newcastle FTW!
newcastle
aston villa is one point behind everton, and getting a fifth place finish will earn them more money than 6th... so they will fight with newcastle...
but man u... resting for ucl le loh...
Newcastle la .... so that one famous so-called Newcastle die hard Alan Shearer's supporter would jump wagon officially to the other camp .
wow , if Newcastle go down ..... many will go . Very expensive salary .
Owen , Viduka ( most likely he'll go back KangarooLand ) , Geremi , Alan Smith , Peter Lovenkrands , Martins , Kevin Nolan , Damien Duff , Nicky Butt , Habib Beye , Colocini etc ...
Just saw the team list of NUFC from Soccernet , scary .
If they keep these players , Ashley must sell his backside to keep them .
I think NUFC make a mistake by letting Shay Given go . I just never understand why did Harper ( for me lousier keeper than Given ) , are chosen ahead of Given ?
hull will be out
i tink man u will show face
tat's why cannot change manager all the time , once change , rhythm change , policy change , human resource change , no wonder Joe Kinnear heart attack .
If Kevin Keegan remains , story different .
Right ??

U mean MU will win ?
Many said MU playing reserves , keep strength for UCL Final .... unless reserves also win .
Playing away , and with reserves ...
Against a team fighting for relegation , full strength team ....
I doubt the outcome .

Hull City will survive if Newcastle lost their last match
Boro will survive if They Win the games and Hope Newcastle and Hull Lost their last match (But their goal differ is super low and Boro is the first team to get the lowest scoring netted 27 Goals -.-)
Newcastle will survive if they beat the opponents and Hull City and Boro Lost or Draw.
Sunderland will survive if they beat Portsmouth tonight.
George Boateng has urged Manchester Untied to play a severely weakened team on the final day of the season.

Having wrapped up the title against Arsenal on Saturday, United now have no domestic concerns with which to occupy themselves ahead of the Champions League final against Barcelona.
Hull are in a far from as luxurious position despite their 1-1 draw with Bolton but now know that their safety lies in their own hands.
A win over United would guarantee a second year in The Premier League for Phil Brown’s side, while a draw would suffice should Newcastle fail to beat Aston Villa.
"I'd like to think all the pressure is on Newcastle," said Boateng. "They have the tougher game. They couldn't beat Fulham at home, and going to Villa Park is harder than that. Aston Villa want to finish their season on a high. They are playing a team that is struggling and the game is sold out, so I would expect Villa to do their duty.
"I'm quite confident that if we can get a point, we'll be okay because I don't see Newcastle winning at Villa Park.
"I hope United's minds will be on Rome. Four days later they have a massive Champions League Final so I hope their kitman is on the teamsheet.
"But ultimately it's about us. We proved against Bolton that our belief is back and the way we've played over the whole season, we deserve to be in the Premier League.
"It's an advantage for us. No, can I rephrase that? It's a massive plus that the title's over and done with now. But is the pressure ever off Manchester United? People are playing for their places in the Champions League final so it will still be a tough one. There will be no favours."
if newcastle go down how many years will they take to get up.. players like owen duff harper all leave already.. never ever thought newcastle will end up this way.. i hope alan shearer can be hero man
aiya Man Utd wont lose to Hull City de even though they get the title at least a draw lor
How come no one mention Sunderland ah?
Later Hull and Newcastle stay up... Then Sunderland go down... lol

ManU is bound to play those "reserves" players but their reserves can easily step into just about any teams in the non big four...
Hull city will survive.
I think the title being decided one week earlier was good as this would give us a chance to look at the battle to avoid the drop on the last day... If both happening on the same day... The fight to beat the drop might not get so much attention...
For me, 1st choice Sunderland go down, 2nd Newcastle and 3rd Hull City...

Sunderland got a game in hand lah... and they just need 1 point from the two games to beat newcastle by goal difference, so no one is even looking at sunderland.
boro also lagging in goal difference too much, and need two teams to screw up and they to win by 3 goals (if hull lose by a goal) to catch up with the goal difference to beat the drop.
Sure, mathematically, these four teams are in the run, but practically, it's just hull or newcastle

Their one game in hand is an away match... Can lose also... If lose that 1 goal difference will probably be 0 if they lost by 1 goal. But if lose by more than 1 leh?
Anyway, Newcastle need to win so if they do, that goal difference will be in their favour too...
And Sunderland's last match of the season is against Chelsea... With Anelka looking to bang in as many as he can to be top scorer... I pray for them that they don't depend on their last game... lol
I think
Sunderland 38 Points
Newcastle 37 Points
Hull City 36 (Draw Man Utd 1-1)
Boro 35
West Bromwich 31
Wow this season last place still can have 31 points well i see last season de the last place onli can get 20 plus points no higher than 30
