Congratulations to Liverpool football club on winning the "we beat Manchester Utd twice" cup for the 08-09 season, following in the illustrious footsteps of Manchester City in 07/08 and West Ham in 06/07.
I look forward to the commemorative mugs, t-shirts, posters, dvds etc that will no doubt follow such a remarkable achievement.
Well done to Liverpool FC and Rafa Benitez on another fantastic trophy filled season.
Whoever win, keep the rivalry alive and this make soccer realli interesting to watch, from Managers of the club, to players on the field and the fans in the stadium and now the forumers in the internet...I just lover Soccer!!!
Credit to Man United for playing well throughout the season and the results do show they deserve the title then Liverpool. Cant wait to haf a good 3 months rest before the season begin again.

So 64 players that we have , we cannot find 11 fringe players to play Hull ?
So i read from those www is wrong ??? The bottomline is , we have the squad , and as what i read from the www , and it's a proven fact . U dun need a history teacher to tell you that !!!!
"Liverpool doesnt have the amount of players in the 2nd or 3rd rungs to even rival ManU in such cases" , base on what ground you alleged that statement ?

I am sorry infront of forumites , i utterly embarassed you .
I think there is a difference between a good banter and argument. There are some people who just can't have that (a healthy discussion)...Yes, there is a fierce rivalry between Liverpool and Manure but please do not call others stupid or calling names (ice fat boy, please note this)...Not everybody has a same opinion, need to respect each other opinion and don't force yours into others.
Anyway, apologies if I ever offended anyone here. Let's have a healthy discussion...
Same , in anyway , if i am offensive , i apologize to anyone ... gracefully .
And me being a mod in YNWA , i absolutely , certainly discourage , anyone , the Liverpool fans and myself , like what sgforums had said , from calling names .
One for all , and all for one .
Liverpool !!!

all along tat's what i am saying .... it's a 40 million pounds revenue if to win the UCL .
Not worth playing full strength against HULL , and got injured , and jeopardised the strength of the team , any mgr would do that . But what i got in return ... is this :
"expected then whats there to say??? anyone would have did it.. just that maybe Liverpool doesnt have the amount of players in the 2nd or 3rd rungs to even rival ManU in such cases"
Is there any need to say "just that maybe Liverpool doesnt have the amount of players in the 2nd or 3rd rungs to even rival ManU in such cases"
If u wanna challenge any Liverpool fan , pls be ready to get challenge . I proof my point , we do have the squad .
Then .... the roti prata came
"you probably can find anything about YNWA in the www and trying to turn away from answering... hahahahahahaha... thats a good one.. as for Liverpool being able to field 2nd 3rd or whatever that they had is of course possible... just any guy being registered can play but against ManU 2nd sting????? hahahahaha... you gotta be kidding yourself if you indeed think they can rival that of ManU.. but whatever it is... go check the www and then see if there is similar topics in it and cut and paste here as "your" personal tots....."
Here u go .
We do not want to rival anyone in this thread !!! There is no need to boast MU 2nd string or 2nd strength or sowhatever , which is not even the proven !!! We can and would be able to get any 11's from our 64's to play anyone ...
I rest my case .

Decision time: United manager Sir Alex Ferguson
Barclays Premier League chief executive Richard Scudamore believes Sir Alex Ferguson has every right to field a weakened team against Hull on Sunday.
Manchester United face Barcelona in the Champions League final on Wednesday and, having already wrapped up the domestic title, Ferguson is expected to rest the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, Wayne Rooney and Nemanja Vidic.
That could have ramifications at the bottom of the table as Hull are still battling it out with Sunderland, Newcastle and Middlesbrough to avoid relegation on the last day of the season.
Scudamore told BBC Radio 5 Live: 'You can't alter the fact they've won the league and they've got the most significant game the following Wednesday against Barcelona.
'You have to be realistic: they've got a squad, and therefore you can't argue that they deploy the benefit of that squad in a game on Sunday.'
Whatever side Ferguson chooses, Scudamore still believes United will be going all out for the win. 'They are the most professional of professional football clubs,' he said.
'Sir Alex Ferguson's going to put a team out that he intends to win that game on Sunday.'

Selection problem: rookie keeper Ben Amos may start
whotf is ben amos? lols

Sir Alex Ferguson has urged worried north-east football fans not to fret about the Manchester United team he will turn out at Hull on Sunday.
With Middlesbrough, Newcastle and Sunderland all facing the prospect of relegation from the Premier League, they are placing their faith in Ferguson's team not to roll over at the KC Stadium to effectively allow Phil Brown's side to survive.
All three clubs have distanced themselves from speculation they might be tempted to launch a legal fight against United should their team be so weak it fails to provide Hull with any kind of resistance.
However, just days before a Champions League final against Barcelona, they are acutely aware that Ferguson will rest almost all his senior players to prevent any risk of injury.
The provisional squad named for Sunday's game is:
Kuszczak, Amos, Neville, Brown, De Laet, Ferdinand, Chester, Eckersley, Simpson, Fabio, Nani, Fletcher, Gibson, Tosic, Martin, Drinkwater, Macheda, Welbeck.
I thought hull city started very brig
Despite being one of the favourites for relegation, they began life in the Premier League in great form, beating Fulham 2–1 on the opening day in their first ever top flight fixture. With only one defeat in their opening nine games, Hull City found themselves (temporarily) joint top of the table, third on goal difference, following a 3–0 victory over West Bromwich Albion[34] - ten years previously they had been bottom of tier four of the leaguehtly.
I look at the squad travelled, will still be a decent side taking to the field...
Kuszczak
Neville, Brown, Ferdinand, Fabio
Nani, Fletcher, Gibson, Tosic
Macheda, Welbeck.
Amos, De Laet, Chester, Eckersley, Simpson, Martin, Drinkwater.

No! their fans cause their downfall.
kevin keegan had dumped them before, yet they regard him like a hero. the second time he dumped them again n the stupid fans put the owner to blame.
without the owner, can newcastle ever survive?

Kuszczak

Nani, Fletcher, Gibson, Tosic
Macheda, Welbeck.
Amos, De Laet, Chester, Eckersley, Simpson, Martin, Drinkwater.
That's still a pretty good lineup there.
Anyway, the cynic in me says that no matter what happens, Fergie and Man U are gonna get blamed anyway by whoever gets relegated.
Field a strong first XI, and they will get blamed for fielding a side that is playing half-heartedly to prevent fatigue and injury.
Field an inexperienced second XI, and they will get blamed for fielding a weaker side.
Either way, Fergie will still get the blame.
i love u all..
Yea let Tosic start I wnt to see how he does!
