Cesc Fabregas has turned down the chance to appear at the FA to defend himself against two charges of improper conduct.
The first is for allegedly spitting at Hull assistant manager Brian Horton at the end of the FA Cup tie in March and the second for entering the field of play at the final whistle.
The Football Association has cleared Arsenal captain Cesc Fabregas of two charges of improper conduct.
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger welcomed the news, commenting "It is relief because personally I always believed he was innocent.
"That it has been confirmed by the FA is very good news for us.
"You have to respect that if the FA comes out and says there is nothing about the whole inquiry to punish Cesc Fabregas, then we have to respect that as well."
