Howay The Lads ... they will bounce back !!!
Sad scene at Villa Park .
Cannot imagine Owen drinking free flow of coke week in week out .
Mee Rebus also sayonara .
Mee Rebus not easy to come up like Newcastle Utd .
to all Newcastle , Boro and WBA fans ...
sorry joe, i feel for you.
but i think its the best way for the club to bounce back and get rid of excess load.
nothing a reboot cant tackle.
YES!!! good news is. NO MORE MIKE ASHLEY!!!
i would still love Newcastle. Still will Love Shearer
Ok, the dust has settled. Time for Shearer to go back to his soccer pundit job. Time for Owen to quit Newcastle and beg Liverpool to buy him back (his best hope is come S-League).
Newcastle can rot forever down there if they still play like shit next season in the championship.
Just now I purposely watch newcastle hoping they will survive but they really played one hell of a boring match and deserve to go down.
I regretted not watching United vs Hull. Gibson's long range is spectacular.
Goodbye newcastle.
Most of the anger is still directed towards Ashley for his interference, but I don't want to see the club left as a mess. I am going to be a neutral while I wait for the Toon to return.

yeah , i am still fuming .... why did they let Keegan go ???
Keegan is the man .....
ok back to basic now ...
Take out Mike Ashley!
are we seeing lots of transfers from newcastle and boro?
steven taylor? owen? gutirez? viduka?
downing?
this is the 2nd time something like that happened to Viduka...
remember Leeds?
anyway, NUFC needs a total revamp of everything.. including the people who own the club, the club itself, their buying policies, their coaching, and motivation... most of the time, the team look like they can't be bothered... and i think it showed, when even a loyal player like Shay Given had enough of the mess...
to think in the day of Keegan, they played the most exciting and sometimes suicidal (in a good way) football which took your breath away...
haha alan smith aso
I'm sad to see Newcastle go, but seriously, they deserved it.
Hell, they were already tossed a lifeline by Man U, but they couldn't even hold Villa to a draw.
I hope this acts as a severe wake-up call to them and to get rid of all the deadweight and mess that the club has right now.
I believe we will see the real loyal players in the Geordies next season and I hope they will come back stronger in 2 seasons time.
I hope their bs admin doesn't make things worse for them and end up doing a Leeds.
Newcastle could have been saved, I have to say its down to Alan Shearer...
Inexperienced and poor management skills... His team wasn't even physically fit... We saw when Guus took over at Chelsea, within 2 weeks they were physically very fit again... Shearer tactics were bad, the players didn't look motivated, at the end, they deserved it... Cos they had 8 matches and they can't even get 6 points... 3 were at home to average sides, they should have made their home ground count especially with that army of fans they have...
Good bye Newcastle...

You have to laugh: Villa fans taunt their rivals

The falsely maligned novices of Manchester did their job. So, too, the old sweats from Stamford Bridge. It was to no purpose, in the end.
The nowhere men of Newcastle were beyond redemption, beyond the reach of local heroes and saviours empowered by tired old myths from an era that matters less with each passing campaign.
Newcastle are a thoroughly modern club in that they embody all that is soulless and uninspired in the 21st-century game. And that is how they went down at Villa Park. An over-rated and over-valued collection of players, stitched together by a series of moribund managerial teams and posturing, useless owners, offering nothing by way of resistance, and little of remorse.
When Chris Foy, the referee, brought their Premier League tenure to an end, several of the group, including the defender who came to sum up the malaise, Fabricio Coloccini, disappeared into the darkness of the tunnel with barely an acknowledgement of the travelling fans who, along with temporary manager Alan Shearer, if he stays, are all the club has left.

All smiles: Scunthorpe's Cliff Byrne celebrates promotion to the Championship and a meeting with Newcastle next season
All four lost, Sunderland by a significant margin to a coasting Chelsea bidding farewell to Guus Hiddink (and manager Ricky Sbragia resigned immediately), Middlesbrough after fleeting resistance at West Ham United, Hull City to a Manchester United team that had little on its side except mystery.
A goal from Darron Gibson was enough to inflict defeat but that did not stop Phil Brown, the Hull manager, turning the celebrations at the end into an impromptu karaoke session, ignoring the fact that his team won one match in the last 23.

Ultimately, that was enough. This was not a vintage year. Despite the achievements of Manchester United and the summit that may be reached in Rome on Wednesday, this campaign will not be recalled with great satisfaction by the majority in the Premier League.
The worst teams went down, as Shearer manfully admitted, but some pretty poor ones stayed up, too.

i dun blame Shearer .... he was not given the time to start everything for him .
All he did was to clean up those shits laid down by previous managers ....
If u compare Spurs and Harry Redknapp , Spurs was blessed cos Redknapp was given much more time to trun things around ...
One extra lesson to all EPL club owners ... A lesson of " TIME "

They've started the sale liao..
That’s whatever is in the box set priced at £10 - the bloke on the right is even cheaper. Let Newcastle’s unbelievable end of season sale commence. Move quickly if you want Sebastien Bassong or Obafemi Martins because you don’t want to be stuck with old tat that nobody else wants.
