Liverpool has got a policy , to remain at an average age level , like average 26 yrs old .

So Owen really little chance ... or zero chance to come back .

Newcastle will offload a lot of players and players rushing for the exit as well. You will see an exodus of players and also bidding from other clubs for their star players. but newcastle really have themselves to blame. the owner lar. itchy backside go hire technical director, dennis wise to oversee players bought and sold. no wonder keegan is so pissed to have quitted. after keegan left, they shd have appointed experienced coaches like venables, souness or peter reid to take charge till end of the season as short term and if they did well, give them the job at end of season. but who did the owner appoint after keegan left? a heart attack kinnear and later the inexperienced alan shearer?

    Duff vows to stay put

"I'm as loyal as they come and, whether the gaffer (Alan Shearer) stays or goes, I'd love to try to get Newcastle back up into the Premier League," said Duff.

"I don't know what words can describe the way I feel. I'm devastated. The lads haven't tasted relegation apart from me at Blackburn and Nicky Butt at Birmingham.

"When it happened at Blackburn, I wasn't planning on seeing it again in my career. It's not a nice feeling.

"No disrespect to the Championship, but Newcastle are too big a club to be down there. I plan on being straight back up (in the Premier League) after next season."

Actually Joe Kinnear did rather ok lah picking up points when he came in... The points to match he got was much better than Shearer's too... He got something like 8.5 points for 8 matches compare to Shearer's 5 points in 8 matches... But as he had a heart attack, they got the former Spurs assistant manager who was sack along with Martin Jol then to take over... Chris Hughton not only have no premier league management experienced as a manager, he has never even manage a football club before either... Always as assistant manager only but never a real manager...

Blackburn who were in the bottom 3 went out to get Big Sam to save them... And what a job he did... He took them out of the bottom 3 in a short time even without Santa Cruz as he was injured most of their games... Newcastle, for some strange reason, they got another inexperienced man who have also never manage a football club before to take over...

I guess Alan Shearer didn't know what was required to fight in a relegation battle unlike Sam... Kelvin Nolan who was a physically fit player at Bolton suddenly became an unfit player at Newcastle...

I believed many might blame the owner... But I feel Shearer could have saved them if he was more competent... Bottom line is, Sam got 10 points from their last 8 games... Alan Shearer manage only 5... Even 6 would have saved them...

Yes, Shearer has not even managed a club, and has no experience in managing players and tactics. rather than relying on fail safe coach who has the experience or know-how on relegation battlers, he appointed a novice in alan shearer tp rescue them in their last 8 games. They blew their chance when they fail to beat fulham last week at home. an experienced manager like souness, or venables or peter reid would have gotten at least 10 points from last 8 games and newcastle would have been safe from relegation. this owner and his advisors decision making is so fark up. should let football people manage the decisions, not those arm chair owner and his lackeys.

In fact, most of them are injury-prone because of their lack of fitness, and it's a vicious cycle.

newcastle go buy so many foreign players and they were not suited and adapted to the BPL pace. lack stamina and aggresiveness.

newcastle should forget about shearer who has no experience in management.

    they should bring back keegan.

He had Iain Dowie with him for a reason...but there's also a reason why he was sacked by Charlton Athletic years ago.

    Gutierrez delays decision on future

Jonas Gutierrez has revealed he will consider his Newcastle United future after playing in next month’s World Cup qualifiers with Argentina.

The 26-year-old, an unused substitute in Newcastle's defeat to Aston Villa, told TyC Sports cable channel: "Right now, the main thing is the national team.

"I want to make my contribution to the team, be with the guys and I hope I can play.

"Once the qualifiers pass, we'll see what will happen with my future."

    Beye planning Magpies stay

Habib Beye has vowed to aid Newcastle in their bid to bounce back from relegation.

"The players who will be here next year must put this club back in The Premier League,” Beye told the club’s official website. "I'm in - I'm a Newcastle player.

“I'm under contract, and I will be here next year to put this club back in The Premier League.

"I have played for Newcastle for two years and I love this club."

newcastle can consider gordon strachan who is available now.

I blame solely on Keegan & Shearer. Supposedly the messiah for the Magpies. Keegan walked out of the club just because he can't get the players he wanted. Yeah, so what if he got what he wanted, can he do anything good with them? Remember Fulham, Man City?

If he loved the club so much, he should have stayed on, instead of cashing out.

Shearer is an ego-istic bloke who agreed to manage Newcastle thinking he can be a Messiah and hero, but he failed because he failed to motivate his players to his will because he was a bane in the dressing in during his time as a newcastle captain.

The magpies played without heart and Shearer blamed his "dressing room" as a result. This showed he failed to control his players.

Shearer isn't well liked by the players anyway because of his arrogance.

To think the vocal british magpies fans still think of Keegan and Shearer as messiahs, shows their pea-brain thinking.

As a Newcastle supporter and for the good of the club, get rid of Shearer and don't ever bring back Keegan or Shepard, don't live in past glories and don't think that having a 55K capacity stadium means it's an entitlement to the EPL.

    Restart and Move Forward!
