Carlos Tevez has said a final farewell to his Manchester United teammates.
Tevez said a tearful farewell to his team-mates before leaving Rome alone.
Tevez was not on the plane with the rest of the Manchester United squad as they returned home.
He has decided that the Champions League final was his last game for United and is now aiming for a move to Liverpool.
Tevez, 25, is understood to have flown to Buenos Aires to join the Argentina squad ahead of the World Cup qualifiers against Colombia and Ecuador.
United have been asked to pay £25.5million this summer to Kia Joorabchian, who own Tevez’s economic rights, to make a two-year loan deal permanent.
But United believe that fee is too high.
Manchester City are also interested in Tevez.
