Agent: Barton wants Newcastle stay

  Joey Barton’s agent has insisted the controversial midfielder is not looking to leave Newcastle.

  Blackburn boss Sam Allardyce, who brought Barton to Tyneside in 2007, is believed to be monitoring the situation, but the midfielder’s agent claims there is nothing in the pipeline.

  "No, no, no, there's nothing doing - Joey has a three-year contract left at Newcastle," said Willie McKay in The Daily Star.

  "Joey has three years left on his contract at Newcastle. He doesn't want to leave."

  By saying he does not want to leave, any transfer out he would be entitle to a cut of it... lol... But if he ask to leave... He would not be entitle to it anymore...

  He knows the club might want to get rid of him and there is interest from other clubs... So why ask... Just sit down and say you want to stay lor... Afterall, he is getting $60k a week doing nothing... lol
