Manchester United are being linked with AC Milan midfielder Rino Gattuso.
United boss Sir Alex Ferguson has concerns over the long-term fitness of Owen Hargreaves and knows his midfield misses the bite of his great teams of the past.
The Manchester Evening News says Gattuso has long-interested the United manager and he could be ready for a new challenge after seeing Carlo Ancelotti move to Chelsea.
