Brazil international Elano has told Manchester City to offer him a new contract now or he will quit the club.

The midfielder, who is currently away on international duty, has demanded to know whether he still features in boss Mark Hughes’ plans.
The 27-year-old failed to hold down a regular place in the City side towards the tail-end of last season and was not shy in showing his displeasure at slipping down the pecking order at Eastlands.
City spent £12 million in signing Gareth Barry last week and have been linked with further midfield reinforcements in the close season.
Elano has met with club officials in order to discuss his future but says he will not stick around if they do not want him to.
"I had a meeting with the board and I asked about the signings they are going to make and whether there was still a place for me in the setup," he said.
"I just asked them to be straight with me. If I can renew my contract now, I'll stay. If not, I want to leave and look for another club.
“There are a number of things happening but now's not the moment to talk about this (because) I'm focused on Brazil."
