  Barcelona agree terms with Inter Milan for Ibrahimovic

  Barcelona have struck terms with Inter Milan over a sensational deal for Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

  El Mundo Deportivo says Barca, after a week of negotiations, have had an offer of £9 million cash plus Samuel Eto'o accepted by Inter. This comes after Inter's initial demands of £35 million cash plus Eto'o in exchange for Ibra.

  The final piece in the jigsaw for Barca is Eto'o, who must agree to become part of the amazing swap.

  Eto'o's agent met with Barca sports director Txiki Beguiristain on Monday to discuss the striker's future.

  Inter president Massimo Moratti will also have to be convinced about meeting Eto'o demands - which are mooted to be around £11 million-a-year.

  Inter deny Zlatan rumours

  Inter Milan have moved to deny rumours that they have agreed to sell Zlatan Ibrahimovic to Barcelona in exchange for Samuel Eto'o.

  The Swedish striker is thought to be seeking an exit from the San Siro this summer with a move to Barca most strongly mooted, while a switch to Real Madrid has also been suggested.

  The speculation intensified last week when Inter president Massimo Moratti was spotted having dinner with Barca supremo Joan Laporta.

  Barcelona-based newspaper El Mundo Deportivo took matters one step further when they announced that the Italian champions had accepted the Catalan's bid of 10million Euros plus Eto'o, something the Nerazzurri have strenuously denied.

  "During the transfer window, a headline in a newspaper is enough to transform groundless rumours into truth," an Inter statement said.

  "This is what has happened today after the article published in Barcelona newspaper El Mundo Deportivo about a presumed deal between Inter and the Catalan club.

  "Besides being completely unfounded, the presumed deal seems remote from any logic, even to the eyes of neutral observers.

  "The report is, therefore groundless."
