Manchester City have rejected several offers for goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel, according to his agent.
The 22-year-old former Denmark Under-21 international is below Shay Given and Joe Hart in the pecking order at Eastlands and, while Hart looks set to leave on loan next season, it remains to be seen whether Schmeichel will be given first-team opportunities.
However, although agent Mads Frederiksen has revealed that the club has received several offers, he says City have so far been unwilling to allow him to leave.
“He has a contract with City, so we are a little hesitant about what will happen,” he told Bold.
“We talk regularly with City, so it may be that something happens within a short space of time, but it may also be that nothing happens.
“We are working to find a solution so that he may be able to play some games. There is interest in Kasper, and there have been several offers, but they were rejected by Manchester City.”
