Spurs striker Roman Pavlyuchenko has urged Rafael Benitez to consider Russia when he looks for new players this summer.
After Arsenal's Andrey Arshavin recommended Zenit Saint Petersburg
right back Aleksandr Anyukov, his international strike partner has
become the latest to support the Russian Premier League's export drive.
When asked who he felt would suit Liverpool's style of play by the
Russian press, the Tottenham striker suggested Lokomotiv Moscow
midfielder Dimitry Torbinskiy.
He went on to add, "But in reality, no player in our team [Russia]
would be lost in England. Let them go, and the more the better. After
the European Championship, the Russians are generating great interest.”
