Chelsea look set to miss out Yuri Zhirkov who seems Barcelona-bound.
The CSKA Moscow defender’s name has been thrown up in many transfer news sections but up until now there has been no certainty as to where he would land.
“Several weeks have passed since those rumours came out that I had signed a contract with Chelsea and I am still at CSKA Moscow,” Zhirkov said.
“My team is Barcelona and that is where I want to play.”
