  Brief line in The Sun this morning, who claim that David Villa will only come to England if it is to sign for Liverpool.
  
  The paper claims Villa has told 'close friends' that he would 'only leave Spain to link up with fellow countryment Rafa Benitez and Fernando Torres'.
  
  However, that probably isn't going to happen, given that Liverpool barely have the money for new shoes, let alone someone like Villa, who looks far more likely to join either Barcelona or Real Madrid.
  
  Meanwhile, The Daily Star claims United and Chelsea have a chance of landing Villa after his £45million move to Real stalled.

  Valencia ace David Villa would only move to England to play for Rafa Benitez's Liverpool.

  The £40million-rated Valencia hitman is being chased by Chelsea, Manchester United, Barcelona and Real Madrid.

  Yet Villa has told close friends he would only leave Spain to link up with fellow countrymen Rafa Benitez and Fernando Torres at Anfield, says The Sun.

  Amazingly, Liverpool boss Benitez is not even in the running for Villa.

  The Kop outfit cannot compete with Barca, who have bid £37m, and Madrid who have offered £35m.

  But Liverpool playing style needs a striker that is quick , shot well and can head in ball like Torres.

  uhm we are nw in the modern era of football..

  where time of ball possession is very crucial..

  that can decide whether ur team win/lose..

  with tat in total control, ur battle on the pitch is more/less half won..

   

  therefore height is not an issue nw..

  rmb hw Barca's Iniesta & Xavi with height 1.70m & 1.68m respectivity won

  the midfield battle against MU? (no offense to MU fans btw)

  well, it depends on how the team plays.. some still boot and run..
