  Man Utd to throw Ronaldo cash at Real Madrid for Casillas

  Manchester United are planning a major bid for Real Madrid goalkeeper Iker Casillas.

  El Mundo Deportivo says United are ready to use cash raised from Cristiano Ronaldo's sale to Real to bid for Casillas.

  Casillas' minders insist the Spain international is happy in Madrid, but he could be unsettled by the arrival of Ronaldo, who will be earning MORE THAN DOUBLE than he currently enjoys.

  United boss Sir Alex Ferguson is yet to make contact about Casillas' availability, but has been a long-term admirer.
