The Toffees have finally decided to cash in on the England international...

Everton have reportedly agreed to sell Joleon Lescott to Manchester City.
Toffees manager David Moyes always maintained that the 26-year-old was not for sale, but due to the player's failing allegiance to the Goodison Park outfit, the club have decided to reluctantly accept a bid of £22 million plus performance related add-ons from City, according to a report in The Sun.
If the proposed move reaches fruition, the centre-back will stand to double his weekly wages, which will morph to a staggering £90,000-a-week once he signs the five-year contract that the Citizens will present him with.
Lescott was reluctant to file an official transfer request out of fear of a backlash from the fans but reportedly told friends that he favours a move to the City of Manchester Stadium.
The People's Club are reportedly going use Philippe Senderos - who is rumoured to have signed with the club from Arsenal for an undisclosed fee - as a replacement for the departing defender, who was bought from Wolverhampton Wanderers for £5m in 2006.
Everton are "mystified" by claims they have accepted a £22million bid for Joleon Lescott - and the defender should play in the Malaga friendly.
Reports suggested Manchester City were on the verge of completing a deal for the England international and there were even claims he would be unveiled at their fans' open day at Eastlands on Thursday.
But Everton insist no new bid from City had been received since last week's rejection of a £19million offer - their second official approach for the player.
Lescott has missed Everton's last two matches at Coventry and Blackpool with a hip injury but, if he is declared fit on Friday, he is in line to face Malaga.
The game will be Everton's first at Goodison Park in pre-season and Lescott can expect a hot reception from fans angry at a summer-long saga over whether he will be allowed to join Mark Hughes' City revolution.
Lescott has told David Moyes he would like to quit the club but stopped short of making a formal transfer request.
Everton had insisted they would not even accept a £30million bid for Lescott from City but the player's declared desire to leave will certainly weaken that position should Hughes return with a third bid.
