UK 50% Taxation

  I felt that at a times like this, the UK government implement this 50% taxation on expatriates, its crazy isnt it, as you are going to lose your competitiveness to other countries. who in the right mind will continue and work in UK when your income is halved by taxation? now footballers will demand on salary after tax deduction, this will surely increase the salary expenses of clubs.

  UK has a market for soccer, if the players want to, they can consider moving to Singapore.

   

  Taxing the rich to supplement the poor is a way to redistribute income from rich to poor, else who will pay for the poor who can't afford a decent standard of living.

   

  If top players move to La Liga, there will be a saturation of top soccer players, which will also drive down the pay for the players. Ultimately, there will be an equilibrium point to balance out the high taxation and saturation of top players in La Liga.

   

  FYI, Spain's income tax rate is not that low too, it's 43%.

  Real Madrid, Barcelona and 2 other clubs have special privilege... Their players contracts first 5 years will be 23% only.

  i think you have to belong to a certain income level then which you will only be able to subject to the 50 % tax rate

  Yeah lah, not everyone... only those earning $150k and above get tax 50%... and it will only start next year in April...
