Espanyol have completed the signing of teenage Chelsea striker Ben Sahar on a four-year deal.
The 19-year-old, who became Israel's youngest international when he made his debut at the age of 17 in 2007, is believed to have cost the Primera Division team around €1m.
Sahar, who joined Chelsea from Hapoel Tel-Aviv in 2006, made only three league appearances for the Blues and spent the latter part of last season on a six-month loan at Eredivisie club De Graafschap.
Espanyol endured a disappointing campaign last season and will be hoping Sahar can help bring new impetus to a club that has undergone some big changes.
Mauricio Pochettino has been brought in as the new head coach and los Periquitos are also set to move to a new 40,000 capacity stadium, the Estadi RCDE.
