Milan have rejected a 'monumental' offer for Brazil international Alexandre Pato, according to Rossoneri vice-president Adriano Galliani.
Pato, 19, has attracted interest from Chelsea this summer and stated recently that he is keen to talk to new Blues boss Carlo Ancelotti who has already made the move from the San Siro to Stamford Bridge.
The forward subsequently reaffirmed his commitment to Milan and the Italian club, having already lost Kaka to Real Madrid, have been forceful in stating that Pato will not be allowed to leave under any circumstances.
Galliani has demonstrated as much again by confirming that the club have deflected a determined attempt to lure Pato away from the Serie A side.
"Milan this year has resisted a monumental offer for Pato," said Galliani. "But I will not say which club made the offer."
Recent reports have claimed that Chelsea are hoping to use Didier Drogba in a swap deal to sign Pato.
