English bid for D'Agostino

Udinese have revealed that an English club has made an offer for playmaker Gaetano D'Agostino.
The 27-year-old enjoyed a tremendous 2008/9 campaign and made his debut for Italy in the recent friendly victory over Northern Ireland.
His performances did not go unnoticed and Udinese are now considering two bids.
"We have one offer from England and another one from an important Italian club," said Udinese owner Giampaolo Pozzo.
"Anything can happen."
Udinese had been in negotiations with Juventus but the deal fell through because their offer was too low.
Pozza admits he was unimpressed by the proposal, which came after D'Agostino had expressed a desire to join Juve.
"I am perplexed by the low value set by Juventus executives for the player," he explained.
"The difference between the asking price and the offer is huge.
"I have the impression that Juve have not thought about the real value of our midfielder.
Pozzo added: "The will of the player is to go to Juve and if I could I would try to make him happy.
"But if Juve really want to get D'Agostino they should be able to make a sacrifice.
"Juve should not take advantage of the enthusiasm of the player.
"Once they are able to comprehend it, they will pay the right amount. It's all in their hands."
