Real Madrid officially presented new signing Kaka in front of a packed Santiago Bernabeu stadium, but he is not the only big name player to be added to their squad this summer. They've also secured the services of Cristiano Ronaldo and Raul Albiol, and an agreement has also been reached for Olympique Lyon striker Karim Benzema.
Former Juventus manager Luciano Moggi, who recently made the headlines for announcing a shock return to football, is one of many who thinks Real Madrid president Florentino Perez is going overboard.
"Real Madrid are putting teams all over Europe, not just in Italy, in difficulty with all these signings," he told Radio Montecarlo.
So far, Los Merengues have splashed out €180 million for Kaka, Ronaldo, and Albiol, and soon another €35 million will be added to that total after the Benzema transfer is completed.
"President Florentino Perez is behaving like a carefree man, but it's better if he manages to contain his enthusiasm a little," Moggi continued. "He risks conditioning the football world, spending €80-100 million on players is really too much."
