The Blues are seemingly unwilling to budge regarding the Portuguese duo...
The negotiations to send Chelsea duo Deco and Ricardo Carvalho to Inter are reportedly on the verge of breaking down, according to the Daily Express.
Chelsea's demands seem to be scuppering the deal, as they want €14 million for the pair, while the Nerazzurri are not prepared to offer that much cash or would rather include one of their own players in the transfer.
Deco and Carvalho both endured poor seasons at Stamford Bridge, partly due to injury, and may be keen to link back up with their former coach Jose Mourinho in Italy.
The Nerazzurri are attempting to build a squad capable of winning the Champions League, something that both players have experience with. However, the parties seem to be at an impasse.
The latest indications are that Inter will turn their attention to Bayern Munich centre-back Lucio as an alternative, if they cannot secure the services of Carvalho.
In my opinion, Chelsea should hold out longer.
Man City will eventually buy Carvalho, and Deco - for alot more money.

Inter Milan president Massimo Moratti does not believe Chelsea duo Deco and Ricardo Carvalho
are needed at the Giuseppe Meazza.
The Serie A champions have been strongly linked with the pair as boss Jose Mourinho
looks for a reunion with his former Porto colleagues, while he also worked with Carvalho at Stamford Bridge.
But Moratti does not believe that Inter require the twosome and appears to have ruled out a move for the players, who are both in their thirties.
"Deco and Carvalho? They are two champions but at this time I don't feel there's a need to buy them," he told Gazzetta dello Sport.
Deco and Carvalho's futures remain uncertain and new Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti
has hinted that the Portugal internationals may be allowed to leave.
He said: "Carvalho and Deco are Chelsea players.
"If in the future a player wants to go they have to speak with the club and we take the right decision for the player and for us."
