After receiving the umpteenth negative response from Wolfsburg for attacker Edin Dzeko, Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani and general director Ariedo Braida have flown towards Sevilla to try and reach an agreement with the club for Luis Fabiano.
The Confederations Cup top-scorer has become the Rossoneri's main transfer target, and they not want to lose him after the failed negotiations for Dzeko and Aly Cissokho.
For this reason, Galliani and Breida are headed to Spain to present Milan's first official offer to the club, which, according to Sky, is around €13 million.
The Rossoneri are trying not to lose any precious time, as they have yet to make a major signing this summer after losing Kaka to Real Madrid.
Earlier reports had suggested that the Spanish club would not accept anything less than €30m for their star player, but their demands are expected to go down in the coming days.
