Manchester United do not expect Michael Owen shirts to be racing out of the club's megastore.
An employee at the club's megastore admitted to The Sun: "As far as I know, no one has asked for an Owen shirt.
"We haven't got his number yet which might have had an effect. We are not expecting a big demand even when that is known.
"We print about 3,000 for Wayne Rooney but we'll be doing nowhere near that for Owen."
Lol all the Man Utd fans are still suffering from owen transfer move shock.
I think some dun like that his ex club was liverpool, man utd hated rivals. some fans in england can be hardcore one. anything from their hated club, they dun like even if the player were to join their rivals.

Anyway, United was never a club obsess with shirt sales... Fergie himself discourage all those marketing stuff as it can take the players away from the squad training a few times in a month...

Mayb they will do some squad number changes lor. Like some youngster number exchange or something.
Give those crazy numbers you see in Seria A lah, like Zamorano last time wear "1+8" which officially meant "18" not 9. So give Owen "2+7" lor since "27" is available.
