Atletico Madrid are eager to offload former Liverpool man, Luis Garcia, and their task will be made easier by the number of clubs reportedly interested in his services.
According to The Daily Mail, Fulham and Blackburn Rovers are ready to open talks with Luis Garcia about a move to the Premier League. They join Aston Villa, West Bromwich Albion, Zenit St Petersburg and Dinamo Moscow in being linked with the 31-year-old.
However, West Brom's relegation last year has significantly lessened Garcia's interest in joining the club while Aston Villa have not followed up their initial inquiries.
Los Colchoneros would like to bid farewell to the midfielder as soon as possible in order that they can continue their pursuit of Eduardo Salvio. While the club are willing to do business, however, they must hope that the player is ready to take a pay cut to find the first-team football he has lacked at the Vicente Calderon.
The Spaniard has made just 47 appearances in the Primera Division since signing from Liverpool, and should he remain at the club to see out the remaining year of his contract he is unlikely to see that figure increase.
