Real Madrid summer signing Kaka feels his is worth every penny of his £56million transfer fee from AC Milan.
The Spanish giants have not been shy to signal their intent for the upcoming season with Cristiano Ronaldo
swiftly following Kaka's arrival at the Bernabeu for a staggering world record £80million.
Valencia's Raul Albiol
and Lyon's Karim Benzema have also been snapped up to take Real's
spending over the £180million mark with no signs of president Florentino Perez
stopping there.
Like Ronaldo before him Kaka feels that his ability justifies the fee and disagrees with people stating that such a figure is immoral, particularly in the current economic climate.
"(The reason) that Real Madrid have decided to pay so much for us is because we are worth it, isn't it? Because we've shown it with our football over the last few years," he told Marca.
"We are in a sport which pays these kinds of figures and within this sphere it could be that we are worth this investment.
"In the case of Cristiano Ronaldo, who is the most expensive player ever, he has shown that he's number one and that he's worth this money."
The 27-year-old insists that the price tag will not affect his performances and in fact he believes the expectation can only help his game.
"To tell the truth, I'm happy to know Real Madrid paid all this money to sign me," he added.
"It's not a form of pressure for me, but a responsibility. But in no way is it going to create a negative effect - just the opposite.
"I think it's something that is going to motivate me even more."
Manuel Pellegrini
is the man responsible with gelling the individuals into a team with
many believing the Argentine lacks the experience of handling big name
players having spent most of his managerial career with small town team
Villarreal.
Kaka, however, is confident Pellegrini is the right man for the job after his feats with the Yellow Submarine.
"He's a coach who I like," he highlighted. "He did a spectacular job with Villarreal and if he's at Real Madrid it's because he's earned it with his effort and dedication.
"He achieved great things in Europe and we knew him well in Milan, because he knocked Inter out of the Champions League.
"He's a coach who gave Villarreal a very nice style of play and I'm sure that at Real Madrid he will try to do the same as with his previous team."

thank yooo but i married oredi liao.. ![]()
one question, if really RM does the treble, who will it be credited to?
Zidane was one of the galaticos, but was he famous prior to RM or after?
kaka is indeed very good looking.
Next season will show whether teamwork does exist in this RM team anot..
the problem with the galacticos theory is u buy a team of stars and try to make them play well together instead of building the team around a core of good players... Not every star can adapt to each other's style... Example would be Lamps and Gerrard for England... They both are great players in their own right but they don't complement each other
Lol worth it..... Spend so much if not worth can go eat shit.
