Tottenham have turned down a £14 million offer from Sunderland for Darren Bent.
The Sun says Spurs are looking to sell the striker this summer but boss Harry Redknapp wants to recoup almost all of the £16.7m paid to Charlton for Bent two years ago.
Since then, he has hit 25 goals in 88 games.
But the England star, 25, has found it difficult to nail down a first-team place at White Hart Lane - especially since Robbie Keane and Jermain Defoe returned to the club.
