Juventus coach Ciro Ferrara remains hopeful he can persuade Pavel Nedved to join his coaching staff for next season.
The talented Czech playmaker announced he was hanging up his boots at the end of last season and is now considering his next move.
Reports of a shock return to action with Inter Milan
were rejected by Nedved over the weekend, while he also appeared to rule out any immediate post with the Bianconeri.
But Ferrara has not been put off by Nedved's recent comments and believes he will be able to sway the Stadio Olimpico favourite once he has taken time to consider the offer.
The Juve boss said: "I spoke to Pavel last night.
"I have the impression that at the moment he wants to take a break, but he's very interested in our proposal.
"He will work on the pitch with me. It's not official yet."
