Real Madrid winger Arjen Robben has confirmed contact with Tottenham.
He said: "I have heard of their interest and my dad has had some contact with Spurs and they are a great club but at the moment I am happy at Madrid and I will stay there."
Real would be prepared to let Robben leave, according to a report in the Telegraph, but the player has left the door open for a move to England.
He said: "I think I will stay but nothing is always a 100 per cent sure."
