Manchester City are ready to hand Everton defender Joleon Lescott a massive deal to quit Goodison Park.
The Mail on Sunday says although an initial £15m offer for Everton's Lescott was turned down, the player is keen to talk to manager Mark Hughes about the City project where he would double his wages to £100,000.
Any deal for Lescott will not depend on City's success in their bid for Chelsea captain John Terry.
