Tottenham Hotspur are believed to be weighing up moves for Toulouse midfielders Etienne Capoue and Moussa Sissoko.
Capoue (pictured), a 20-year-old France U21 international, has made 37
league appearances since breaking onto the first-team scene in 2007.
While Sissoko, just 19, has already made more than 60 Ligue 1 outings and been capped 12 times by the French U21 side.
Both are believed to have been watched by Premier League scouts on
numerous occasions with a view to bringing them to England ahead of the
new campaign.
And it is Spurs supremo Harry Redknapp who is reportedly ready to
launch a double raid on the French outfit for the pair's services,
although Capoue has revealed he is taking reports linking him with a
move abroad with a pinch of salt.
“It is good to be linked with prestigious clubs, but I have only just
started in the top division in France and I need to prove myself before
moving abroad,” Capoue told skysports.com.
“I will not lose any sleep over it. I am very down to earth and I will continue to work hard and have more good games for Toulouse."
