  to be fair, given the humidity and the pre-season fitness, I don't expect any EPL teams to really get into gear for these friendlies.

  I believe most of these visits are to stir up support and importantly $$$ for their teams.

  Yes, it seems a rip off when favourite players do a short show and then get sub. But surely all fans won't want to to see their favourites having a pre-season injury and not perform when the season starts right?
