Former Manchester City striker Darius Vassell has completed his move to Turkish club Ankaragucu.
Vassell fell down the pecking order at Eastlands last season and became surplus to requirements as manager Mark Hughes started to bolster his attacking options.
Roque Santa Cruz, Carlos Tevez and Emmanuel Adebayor have all joined this summer to further increase competition for places.
But Vassell will be embarking on a new challenge in the Turkish Super Lig after signing a two-year deal with Ankaragucu.
The former England international travelled to the club last month to hold talks and was greeted by thousands of excited supporters upon his arrival
Ankaragucu, who finished 13th in the league last term, regard Vassell's capture as a major coup ahead of their centenary year.
"I do not want to talk too much," Vassell told reporters.
"I want to play football. Ankaragucu is working hard for success."

Manchester City striker Felipe Caicedo will spend the new season on loan with Sporting Lisbon after falling out of favour at Eastlands.
The arrival of Emmanuel Adebayor, Carlos Tevez and Roque Santa Cruz meant the Ecuador striker's first-team chances were limited.
The 20-year-old, who joined in January 2008 from FC Basle, has been allowed to move to Portugal.
"My objective is to play and to show that I can triumph in Europe," he said.
"City have many forwards who have arrived this summer and they have complicated my presence.
"For me it is difficult to get in the starting XI at City and the opportunity to go to Sporting is a personal challenge to me.
"I don't think it will be a problem to adapt to life in Portugal and the possibility to play in the Champions League appeals."
