  The agent of Barcelona ace Samuel Eto'o has struck personal terms with Inter Milan.

  Marca says after an hour-long meeting in Milan, Jose Maria Mesalles shook hands on a five-year contract with Inter officials worth £9 million-a-season.

  The agreement opens the door for Barca to open serious negotiations with Inter striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic in order to complete the sensational swap.

  Alex Hleb, the Barca midfielder, is set to be added to Barca's offer, which will officially be the Belarussian, Eto'o and £35 million for Ibrahimovic.

  Inter Milan president Moratti: Mourinho happy with Eto'o deal

  Inter Milan president Massimo Moratti insists Jose Mourinho is happy with Samuel Eto'o's imminent arrival.

  “I have to admit that I was surprised and scared when I read these reports,” revealed Moratti.

  “Mourinho and I always speak to each others so that is not true. He didn’t think Ibra would go but he is equally happy with Eto’o.”

  Although the transfer is nearly official, Moratti pointed out that the final papers are yet to be signed.

  “We have to wait. I will be delighted to have Eto’o with us,”
