  Chelsea's Anelka: No Ronaldo, no Tevez, Man Utd are gone

  Chelsea striker Nicolas Anelka is convinced Manchester United are there for the taking after losing Cristiano Ronaldo and Carlos Tevez.

  French star Anelka said: "I don't think United will be as strong this season because Ronaldo has gone and Carlos Tevez has gone. That could give us more chance to be stronger than them.

  "United have lost two big players so it gives everyone else - including ourselves - a big chance to win it."

  The Blues have been impressive in pre-season and Anelka reckons retaining their best players is a real plus for new boss Carlo Ancelotti.

  The 30-year-old striker added: "Maybe this season - because we have a strong squad and everyone is together - we have a better chance.

  "It is going to be a tough title race. They are all very strong. Even Man City have some good players."

  the team is more than one man.. and the person who understands that more than anyone is SAF..

  We did it w/o Becks and Ruud! We can do the same w/o CR7 and Tevez!

  actually after becks left, MU went barren for 3 yrs leh..

  not to deny history or facts, MU will suffer.

  and the most consistent team will win the league.

  if MU can find that consistency, they will win, else another better team will win.

  I have to agree that SAF always can do some magic to motivate his players to do well this season, so i still believe that Man U still gonna to do well this season just tat the players they had now will have to put in extra work.

  If Pool manage to keep Alonso, I belief their chances is very good... But if they can't, no amount of money they get for him would be enough to help them bring someone else in and yet be as influential enough...

   

  To be honest, I think Chelsea has 30% chance of winning the title...

  United and Pool both have 25% chances each...

  Arsenal probably 15%

  City 4%...

  And any other club... 1%

   

  City got an advantage over the top 4 where they won't be distracted by CL or even Uefa cup as they are not in either competitions...

  I think City is more than 4%, honestly, if they gel fast, they are a contender. Not to be under-estimate.

  but I think Chelsea and Pool are the favourites.

  With the money, City can take the epl by storm like chelsea did..BUT they need a better manager...chelsea had jose mourinho....
