ROME - Inter Milan's new striker Samuel Eto'o will get his first taste of a Milan derby on only the second weekend of the Serie A season.
The Italian league announced the fixtures on Wednesday with champions Inter facing AC Milan on August 29/30 after opening up at home against promoted Bari the previous weekend.
Cameroon international Eto'o joined Milan this week in a swap deal involving Zlatan Ibrahimovic going to Barcelona. Juventus, runners-up last season, will visit AS Roma on the second weekend of the new season.
Matches on the first two weekends will all be played in the evenings with a decision due shortly on the exact dates for games in the early part of the campaign.
Another standout fixture will be Juventus travelling to Milan, who finished a stuttering third last term, on the final day of the season on May 16.
Juve v Inter and the Rome derby between Roma and Lazio will take place on December 5/6 with the return fixtures on April 17/18 - just five matches from the end of the campaign.
