Before Steven Gerrard’s infamous celebration night out at the Lounge Inn descended into fisty cuffs everyone was dancing and having a fine time.

One woman in particular, who was featured in the CCTV footage shown in court, has caught the eye of an eagle-eyed YouTube user who’s created a mash-up of her busting out some serious dance moves in a bid to get the attention of the football legend.
The hilarious clip is set to tunes including Groove is in the Heart and You’ll Never Walk Alone, in tribute to the Kop hero, and at one point even plays homage to Michael Jackson with a split screen comparison of Stevie G’s dancing queen with the King of Pop, set to Jacko hit Don’t Stop Till You Get Enough.
Getting down and groovy on the edge of the dance floor the dancing diva is thoroughly approving of the tunes the DJ’s spinning, unlike the Liverpool captain who got himself into a spot of bother over the music selection.
Despite all the moving and shaking, her efforts to woo Gerrard are fruitless and see him heartlessly stride past and blank her at the end of the YouTube video. But the enthusiastic groover’s efforts may not yet have been in vain with her set to become an internet sensation.
The 29-year-old midfielder was acquitted of assault last week after admitting punching DJ Marcus McGee three times in a dispute over the music being played at the bar in Southport. The court heard Gerrard didn’t approve of the choices and wanted his own music to be played. The jury accepted Gerrard's explanation that he hit the DJ in self-defence.
