  Man City's Adebayor: Arsenal risk losing Cesc

  Manchester City striker Emmanuel Adebayor has warned Arsenal they will lose Cesc Fabregas if they fail to finish in the top four this season.

  Both teams kicked off the season with victories, Arsenal thumping Everton 6-1 and Adebayor being amongst the scorers in City's 2-0 win at Blackburn Rovers.

  The Togo star told the Sunday Mirror: “In football, you need talented players and you need players who are ready to fight – and it is clear that at Arsenal we didn’t manage to win trophies.

  “I feel sorry for the club and hope they will still have a chance to win things because all my friends are there. But I’m now in a team that will fight them for the fourth place and to qualify for the Champions League.

  “I think it’s possible they could lose Cesc if they don’t get into the Champions League.

  “Cesc is a very good player. I have played with Thierry Henry and Dennis Bergkamp, but I would go for Cesc as the best I have played with. He has good vision and in one pass he can change the game. Since he was 16 he has enjoyed Arsenal, so for him it will be a blow if they are not in the Champions League.

  “If that happens there is a chance that Cesc and the other big players will leave.

  “He’s an intelligent person and at the right moment, he will make the right decision.”

  Adebayor in new swipe at Arsenal fans: Man City support love me!

  Manchester City striker Emmanuel Adebayor celebrated scoring - and winning - on debut yesterday by taking a swipe at Arsenal fans.

  After victory at Blackburn Rovers, Adebayor said: "It's a fantastic start for me and the team. I am happy to be at a club where the fans are 100 per cent behind me.

  "The fans booed me at Arsenal - here they love me."

  nah nah nah.... its always like this when you moved clubs and score... when adebayor scores for arsenal in the past... we cheered him too... then when he flirts with milan and barca... obviously we booed up... if not he flirts with barca and milan of course man city fans would boo him too... but wait....

  Milan and barca arent that stupid to pay this togolese bastard 150000 pounds per week right?? Only man city the worlds' richest and dumbest club would pay such wages..

  Arsenal's Cesc has pop at Man City pair: We need committed players

  Arsenal captain Cesc Fabregas had a pop at former teammates Kolo Toure and Emmanuel Adebayor after yesterday's 6-1 thumping of Everton.

  Cesc said of the new Manchester City pair: "They are both great players.

  "But they had problems and didn't want to continue at Arsenal, so leaving was the best thing they could do.

  "It was best for us because we want players who are committed.

  "We want to win things together. It was a great result today but we are not going to win every game 6-1.

  "This was only the first game, there are 37 more Premier League matches to go."

  ade will be fantastic in the first half of this season since he will be eager to prove to his critics and arsenal fans that he is a top class striker. however doubt that his enthusiasm will continue after his tiring african cup. by then he will be back to his lazy self, waiting for his man city teammates to feed him with chances. ireland, barry, tevez and co will have a tough time ahead dealing with ade's attitude. lol
