Former Wigan Athletic boss Paul Jewell would bet his life on Antonio Valencia making it at Manchester United.
In a column for the Daily Mail, Jewell wrote: "I'm not surprised Manchester United have bought him and I bet his new team-mates are impressed.
"But he'll get better at that and as the season develops he will bring the most out of Wayne Rooney and Dimitar Berbatov.
"And he works and works. He has the ability and the mentality to make it at Old Trafford, I'd bet my life on that."
